Connor James Chilson: A year in review
Wow my baby is 1 year old! As we parents always say I can't believe he's growing up so fast. Connors first few months of life were a whirl wind of visitors and travel. He was born in early November (11/12/2007 to be exact!) He met his Grandma And Aunt Denna who where barely able to get a few pictures befor they had to head home. Connor had his own schedule of when he would be born he was not to be rushed and he didn't care that they had to leave for New York.
Shortly after Scott's family left Nana and Papa Dahlgren arrived to shower Chilson 3.0 with love. While they where visiting we received the call offering Scott a job promotion and relocation to Orlando. Let's not for get that Connor is only weeks old at this time and I'm exhausted! Part of Scott's conversation with his boss went like this ... "We would like you to start right away. I know you are planning to go to NY for Christmas so can you start when you come back?"
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!
So within the time span of 6weeks I had a baby, had 2 sets of family visit, Scott got a promotion, we traveled to NY for Christmas, and moved to 2 hours away to Orlando (with out me even seeing the house we would be renting)! All wonderful things but please could we at least stretch them out over 6 months not 6 weeks!!!!!!
OK OK OK This is suppose to be about Connor not me the crazy rambling mother.
In Connor 1st year he has 4 teeth, and we have learned to nurse around those finally. Started walking at 10 months and does the sign for more whenever he wants to eat. Blows kisses with the most adorrable fish face. He keeps up with his older brothers just fine and is climbing on everything! He loves his Daddy and pitches the biggest fits when Scott leaves and get very excited when Scott gets home.
He is still napping 2x a day which makes it convenient for our school time in the morning. I'm not sure what will happen when he drops that morning nap but we will cross that bridge when it comes. I'm sure that will be soon he is a big one year old now after all.
This was the day Connor walked by himself of course I didn't catch him in the act!
I must stop know as nap time is almost over in our home and I will return later to add pictures. For all of my English major friends please forgive the run on sentences and all other grammer errors!
Sending all of you Gods Blessings

Summer Fun
We had a busy summer of traveling and fun. This is probably why I haven't posted for the last 5 months. The 3 boys and I flew to Maine in June. It was not the nightmare I was preparing for. Luke and Zander enjoyed a movie once we achieved altitude. Connor wasn't crawling yet so he was perfectly content to sit on my lap and chew on what ever was close at hand.

Well there is a taste and there will be more to come. I must get back to the boys.

Happiness is.....
We had been using a bouncey activity saucer for him to sit in while in the echoy kitchen. It sounded like a jack hammer! He's not eating solids yet but this is a great place to sit while we are in the kitchen and not give us a headache! The best part is I put it together myself! OK Scott had to srew in 2 screws but that was because I was to lazy to get up off the floor and get a screwdriver.

My new favorite quote!
Between what I think I want to say, what I believe I'm saying, what I say, what you want to hear, what you believe you understand, and what you understood, there are at least nine possibilities for misunderstanding." Francois Garagnon

Happy Birthday to Luke
We had a fun day this Saturday. I can't even believe that my colicy baby boy who would keep me up screaming all night is now 5. We had a few friends over to celebrate and Scott cooked some burgers and dogs. Luke sampled the cake a few times befor we served it or I even got a picture. The favorite gift I think was the set of K'nex with the water guns being a close 2nd. More to add later for now I must feed my boys.
